Ski/ Snowboard Gear: 1. Helmets are mandatory for ALL skiers and snowboarders. A properly fitting snow sport helmet certified by a recognized safety standards association (e.g. ASTM, CE, Snell) for skiing/snowboarding/snowblading. You will not be given a pass without a helmet. If needed, helmets are available for rent. Be sure to pack skiing essentials.

3. Clothing must be adequate for winter out of doors activity - pants, jacket, gloves, mitts, warm clothing, ...
4. All bindings must be in working order and set to the proper tension, must meet with current approved guidelines, and boots and bindings must be thoroughly compatible.
Membership: If there are more applicants than spaces, we will draw to select students. If a student is selected, a link to School Cash Online will be shared. If a student isnot selected, they will be placed on the waiting list.
Attendance: If you are selected and unable to attend any ski club outing, please try to inform one of the teachers in charge for attendance purposes. No refund for missed evenings can be issued. Ski Club dates are set and you must know ahead if you are available those nights. Money cannot be refunded if you miss an evening for any reason. The bills must still be paid!
All members MUST take the bus to and from the ski area. Failing to comply will result in termination of the membership with no refund.
Student Conduct: Ski Club membership is a privilege. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a mature, respectful manner at school, on the bus and at the ski area. Behaviour which is disrespectful and/or hazardous will result in termination of membership, with no refund.
Equipment: Students are responsible for their own/rented equipment & for being on the hill in time for lessons.
Busing: Buses with supervising teachers will take students from St. Mark High School as soon as possible after 2:20 p.m. dismissal. Students do NOT leave classes early. We will leave the ski hill at 8:15 p.m. and arrive back at St. Mark before 9:00 p.m. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange for someone to drive them home from the school. When the bus returns to St. Mark, the students will not be allowed back into the school. Students are, therefore reminded to take their school bags with them to the ski hill.
